The Dab Rite OG is back, baby! Everything that you know and love about the original Dab Rite, now with an upgrade to the sensor.

🌟We’ve retooled the sensor housing and have added the Sensor Shield that debuted recently on the Dab Rite PRO. The Sensor Shield is a gasketed silica lens that allows for IR passthrough while making sure other debris can no longer fall down your sensor barrel, the lens also protects the sensor from any liquids getting in while cleaning. Fallen debris and residue has been the cause of 99% of inaccurate readings and now with the Sensor Shield keeping your sensor clean has never been easier!

Some prefer to keep it simple. We know not everyone wants or needs the bells and whistles (quite literally) that come on the Dab Rite PRO. The Dab Rite OG is for you, friends.
Hands-free since day 1 🤘

🌟Our Distance to Spot ratio is still 3:1, meaning in order to measure the temperature of a spot with a 1” diameter, you need to be 3” away. For our purposes, we recommend 1/2” or a finger width so the size of the spot being measured is about .16” in diameter, thus a more accurate reading on a smaller area of the banger as the IR sensor is taking several readings of that “spot” and giving you the average. This is also why an evenly torched, or heated, banger is crucial for accurate measurements; if you torch in only one spot and temp in another, the reading will be off since quartz does not transfer heat well.

🌟Always make sure you’re lining the sensor up with the center of the banger’s bottom or centered on the middle of the column if using a slurper style banger.

We added a RESET button to the Dab Rite PRO incase there were ever any memory issues. Just like having to restart your phone, tv, internet, etc from time to time - we get it, shit happens.

The RESET button is located on the bottom of Dab Rite PRO units. If you run into a glitch for any reason, we recommend using a paper clip to reach and you’ll be back in business!

You’ve had dirty sensors, and we now have a solution!
Introducing the all new Sensor Shield; a gasketed silica lens that we developed with our sensor manufacturer in Germany. This lens allows for IR passthrough while making sure other debris can no longer fall down your sensor barrel causing misreadings. This now makes cleaning much easier and the gasket protects the sensor from any liquids getting in while cleaning.

IR Sensors have specific temperature ranges and the one we chose is most accurate with a 500-600° range. Since we dab around 500°F (and no higher than 700°F) and dunk around 250°F this range is ideal for our dabbing needs. If we did have the sensor read outside of those ranges, the accuracy variance will increase drastically. Our current sensors have a response time of 1 second and variances of +/- 2% which at 500°F means a variance of +/- 10°F, and if we allowed them to read below 200°F and above 700°F the variance can be upwards of +/- 10% - this goes for all IR sensors.
